Who's Up 4 Social Conduct
Who's Up 4 is a site dedicated to helping people genuinely interested in making new friends by providing them with a place where they can come together and find others to do fun things with.
We'd like this site to be as friendly and fun to use as possible and for people to feel relaxed and unintimidated. For this reason, we ask that you observe some basic etiquette requests.
Site Etiquette
When posting on any of the site such as Chirper™, invites, profiles, photos etc, we ask that you treat other members with full respect. In particular, please do not post anything of a provocative, harassing, racist, lewd/sexual, unpleasant, untruthful, weird, inappropriate or anything of a generally considered anti-social nature.
The site is monitored and moderated and unsuitable posts will be removed. If a person persists in such behaviour we would unfortunately have no choice but to terminate their membership without notice or refund.
Public Etiquette
When meeting members at an event, again we ask that you treat them with full respect. Members are organising events as a way to meet new members, not to provide events for your entertainment per se.
Please be on time or if you cannot make it cancel with good notice. On arrival there's no need to be shy - everyone else is in the same boat and will be happy to meet you - so simply say hello, introduce yourself, be sociable and aim to have a great time.
At the end of an event, remember you do not need to give out your personal contact details if you don't want to. Members will be able to contact you through us.
If an event doesn't live up to your expectations please do not blame the organisers. They have been kind enough to put something together and we ask that you respect that. If you think you could do better, by all means do - send out an invite for an event of your own and get to meet even more people.
Raising a Complaint
If you do have a complaint about a person's behaviour either at an event or on the site, please let us know. You can send us a message using the 'contact us' link at the bottom of the member's page.
